The objective of this project is to establish a SMART team at UT that will become a leader in convergent, socially-responsible AI and robotics research and education
The key idea is to develop SMART systems that combine human-centered design, diversity, inclusivity, and regional relevance to tackle real-world challenges specific to Tennessee in sectors like healthcare, education, and transportation.
